Northcote College is a New Zealand secondary school for boys and girls (co-educational) located in Northcote, Auckland. The school caters for Form 3 (Year 9) to Form 7 (Year 13). It was founded in 1877 and is the oldest secondary school on the North Shore. Sporting codes and cultural activities include rugby, football (soccer), drama/performance, jazz band, orchestra, theatre sports and cultural groups. The school rules are based on respect and aimed at encouraging hard work, courtesy and concern for others. The technology block, known as E Block, burned down on the evening of Friday 26 September 2014. The devastating fire prompted the demolition of three classrooms. The fire is not being treated as suspicious.〔()〕 ==Notable alumni== * Mike Rann - premier of South Australia * Bill Ralston - journalist and broadcaster * Hollie Smith - singer-songwriter * George Wood - former Mayor of North Shore * Nick Williams - Rugby player North Harbour,Blues * Terry Wright - All Black 1986-92 * Arthur Jennings - All Black 1967 * Kevin Locke - Rugby League, Warriors and NZ Kiwis * Rob Arblaster - Tall Black, Auckland Cricket * Simon Mesritz - Tall Black * Steven Ferguson - NZ Olympian, Swimming and Kayaking 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Northcote College」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
